Former ELFA president dies

Fleming Michael Fleming, who led the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association for 27 years, died Aug. 19 from cancer. He was 75. Fleming became president of ELFA in 1979, establishing the association's headquarters in Washington, D.C. He retired from the organization in 2006 and most recently was senior managing director of client relations for The Alta Group, a global equipment leasing and finance industry consulting firm.
